Privacy Policy

What personal information do you collect?

When you purchase something from our store or interact with our site, we may collect information such as your email, name, address, IP address or your device Information. We only use your name and address info in order to fulfil your order and notify you of the status of your order. No sensitive personally identifiable Information is collected automatically without your consent.

If you've given us permission to email you (i.e. signed up for our mailing list via a form on our site or provided us with your email address in our store at the time of placing an order on our site), we may send you emails about new products and promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time using the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any of these emails.

How do you use my personal information?

We are processing your personal information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you. We use the information generally to provide our services to you, fulfil any orders placed, to communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud, and when in line with the interest you have shared with us and your consent, which is expressed by your active actions, provide you with order updates or special offers relating to our products or services.

Do you disclose my personal information?

When orders are fulfilled using a third-party service provider we will pass on your email, name and address details to that service provider so that they can deliver your goods to you. That third-party service provider has undertaken to us that they will protect that information, will not pass it on, not use it for any other purpose than to deliver your ordered goods to you. We only share information with them that is required for the services offered. We will never sell your information to third parties for marketing purposes.

How will third parties use my personal information?

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only use your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors (i.e. PayPal, Google Pay), have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

Where is my personal information stored?

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. Shopify provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Who stores my payment information?

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase (i.e. entering your credit card number in the checkout form as opposed to using PayPal or Google Pay), then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

Your purchase transaction data is stored by Shopify only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. SYNTHWAVE.NINJA store never sees your full credit card number and does not store your payment information.
